EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior guard Jamal Nwaniemeka scored 20 points and redshirt senior guard Will Brown had 18 to lead six double-figure scorers and East Stroudsburg University hit the 100-point mark for the third time this season in a 103-77 win vs. California (Pa.) in PSAC men's basketball on Sunday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Junior forward Rasheed Moore and freshman guard Nick Giordano scored 13 points each, redshirt junior guard Quindell Brice scored 12 and redshirt freshman forward Chris Bing had 10 for ESU (9-3, 5-3), which won its third straight.

The Warriors' bench scored 48 points, with contributions from Giordano, Brice, Bing and junior forward Sultan Aminu (nine points).

ESU shot 64.7 percent (44-for-68) from the field, its best mark vs. a PSAC school in at least 13 years.

The Warriors shot 24-for-31 overall and 10-for-14 from the three-point line in the first half, running out to a 58-27 advantage through 20 minutes. ESU was 12-for-25 from long range for the contest with Nwaniemeka and Brown both going 4-for-6.

Nwaniemeka, Brown and Giordano hit three triples each in the first half. ESU jumped out to a 12-2 lead, Cal closed to within 21-14 and then Brown and Nwaniemeka hit back-to-back three's to start a 37-13 run to close the half.

Brown had 15 first-half points, all in the first 14 minutes, and Nwaniemeka had 13. Moore closed the half with a three-pointer at the buzzer for a 31-point lead.

ESU had 32 assists on 44 made field goals, including seven each from freshman guard Najee Walls and junior forward Steve Harris, who added four points and eight rebounds.

The Warriors forced 21 turnovers and had 15 steals.

ESU has scored 100+ points in consecutive PSAC games, with a 115-73 win vs. Cheyney on December 19 before a 79-73 non-conference win at New Haven on Wednesday, December 30.

Cordell Smith scored 23 points off the bench to lead California (5-8, 3-5). Richard Smith scored 14, Khalil Jabbie had 13 and Nick Miller 12.

ESU entered the weekend leading the PSAC in scoring (87.1 ppg) and pushed its average to 88.4 through 12 games. The Warriors were second in the PSAC in field goal percentage (48.7 - now 50.1) and three's per game (8.6 - now 8.9).

ESU travels to Slippery Rock for a conference game on Wednesday night. The Rock (8-6, 3-5) fell 70-67 at Bloomsburg on Sunday.

* Moore (978), Nwaniemeka (919) and Brown (910) have all surpassed the 900-point mark.
* Moore can become the 4th ESU player to score 1,000 career points as a junior.
* Nwaniemeka has 930 collegiate points (scored 11 points as freshman at Rider in 2012-13)
