EAST STROUDSBURG - Redshirt senior tailback
Robert Healy set a school record for career all-purpose yards in East Stroudsburg University's 49-30 loss to Kutztown in PSAC East football on Saturday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
Healy, already ESU's all-time leader in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage, gained 160 yards (124 rushing, 2 TD; 36 receiving) to surpass former All-America wide receiver Evan Prall, who had 5,682 all-purpose yards from 2003-06.
Healy finished the night with 5,731 career all-purpose yards - 3,853 rushing and 1,878 receiving. Prall gained 4,093 yards receiving, 1,034 on kick returns, 539 on punt returns and 16 rushing in his four years.
Healy also set ESU's single-season record for rushing TD (16), surpassing the mark of 15 set by Toby Barkman (1961) and tied by Anthony Carfagno (2004). He also eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the second time in his career, amassing 1,023 yards in seven games.
Kutztown (4-3, 4-0), the PSAC East leader, gained 668 yards - 459 rushing and 209 passing - led by a school record 261 rushing yards and three TD by redshirt sophomore running back Craig Reynolds.
Redshirt freshman quarterback Collin DiGalbo threw for 209 yards and a touchdown and ran for 70 yards and a score, and James Wah, Jr. had seven carries for 68 yards and two TD for the Golden Bears.
Healy carried 23 times for his 124 yards and scored on runs of two yards in the first quarter and 36 yards in the fourth quarter.

Javier Buffalo (2 catches, 70 yards, TD) both caught scoring passes from DiGiorgio. House pulled in a 38-yarder with 53 seconds left in the second quarter, and Buffalo had a 50-yard catch and run midway through the fourth.
ESU struck first with a nine play, 80-yard drive capped by the first of Healy's two touchdown runs.
Kutztown then scored on three straight possessions - a 19-yard run by DiGalbo, a 51-yard run by Reynolds and a 42-yard pass from DiGalbo to Nathan Hollander - for a 21-7 lead with 13:14 left in the second quarter.
The Warriors defense held Kutztown to 95 yards over its final four possessions of the first half, and ESU scored the last nine points of the second quarter to pull within 21-16 at halftime - a 39-yard field goal by sophomore kicker
Nicolas Ruiz, and the 38-yard TD pass from DiGiorgio to House.
Both teams traded punts to start the second half, before Kutztown scored three straight touchdowns to put the game out of reach. Reynolds scored on runs of 17 and 43 yards and Wah, Jr. plunged in from two yards out for a 42-16 lead with 8:11 remaining.
Buffalo answered with a 50-yard TD pass from DiGiorgio, Wah scored on a 42-yard run for Kutztown and Healy finished the scoring with a 36-yard TD after a Kutztown fumble.
Reynolds gained 345 all-purpose yards for Kutztown - 261 rushing, 11 receiving and 73 on kick returns.
Healy entered the game ranked first in NCAA Division II in yards from scrimmage per game (203.2) and third in rushing yards per game (149.8). Reynolds was third in the PSAC in rushing (107.3 ypg) entering the night.

Hollander had three catches for 67 yards and a TD, Troy Parton had 11 catches for 47 yards and Kellen Williams had five catches for 54 yards to lead Kutztown's receivers.
Zack Delp made 10 tackles and Jake Perry had two interceptions to pace Kutztown defensively.
