BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Senior forward
Steve Harris had a career-high 22 points with 12 rebounds in his season debut and East Stroudsburg University rallied from a 10-point deficit early in the second half for an 87-74 win at Concordia (N.Y.) in non-conference men's basketball on Wednesday night at the Meyer Athletic Center.
ESU (1-2) trailed 44-36 at halftime and 52-42 at the 16:30 mark of the second half, but posted a 51-30 scoring margin in the final 20 minutes to push past the Clippers (0-3).
The Warriors finished the game with a 19-5 run in the last eight minutes, with Harris scoring six straight late in the game to extend the lead.

Kitt Najee Walls added nine points and career-highs of six rebounds and two blocks.
Stephen Millhaven had 24 points and 12 rebounds, Justyn Gardner scored 16, Cedrick McFadden 12 and Jamie Holder 10 to pace Concordia, which played just seven players in the contest.
The Clippers pushed their halftime lead to 10 twice early in the second half before ESU got back in it with a 12-2 run on a basket by Moore, two by Harris and a pair of three's by Giordano in a half-minute stretch.
A third Giordano three made it 59-59 with just under 13 minutes left, and it remained tight until ESU's final stretch.
The Warriors took their first lead since midway through the first half on a basket by Krawczeniuk which made it 66-65 with 9:02 remaining.
It was 69-69 when Moore made two free throws with 5:57 left, followed by a driving layup by Brice and a three by Krawczeniuk as part of an 8-0 run.
Harris had back-to-back dunks and hit a jumper to make it 83-72 with 2:45 remaining and seal the victory.
Until a closing layup at the buzzer, Concordia's final field goal was at the eight-minute mark.
Harris, who missed the first two games (72-69 loss at Shepherd, 78-67 loss vs. No. 7 Wheeling Jesuit) due to injury, surpassed his previous career-high of 19 points vs. Shippensburg early last season and had his first career 20-point game. He posted his eighth career double-double after recording seven last season.
Harris entered the season with a career field goal percentage of 61.8, the best in school history, and shot 11-for-14 from the field in his 2016-17 debut.
Moore finished the night with exactly 1,200 points and has 598 rebounds, 10th in school history, passing Ed Urie (597 - 1985-90), who was inducted posthumously to the ESU Athletic Hall of Fame last month.
ESU shot 50.0 percent (35-for-70) from the field, made seven three-pointers and had 11 turnovers, while Concordia shot 47.0 percent (31-for-66), made four three's and had 16 turnovers. The Warriors held the Clippers to a 39.4 percent mark (13-for-33) in the second half.
ESU opens PSAC action this weekend, hosting Clarion on Saturday and Pitt-Johnstown on Sunday at Koehler Fieldhouse. Both games tip at 3 p.m. following the women's game at 1 p.m.
