EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior forward Ralik Wise scored 18 points, senior forward Steve Harris had 12 points and 12 rebounds for his second straight double-double and senior forward Rasheed Moore added 16 points as East Stroudsburg University posted a 103-76 win over Clarion in non-conference men's basketball on Saturday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.

ESU (2-2) shot 58.7 percent (37-for-63) from the field and 10-for-20 from the three-point line while putting five players in double figures.

Wise scored 16 of his game-high 18 points in the second half, part of a 59-point outburst in the final 20 minutes after the Warriors held a 44-29 lead at intermission.

Redshirt senior guard Quindell Brice had 14 points and sophomore guard Kitt Najee Walls posted 13 points and four assists to join Wise, Moore and Harris in double figures.

Redshirt sophomore forward Chris Bing scored nine points, junior guard Ryan Krawczeniuk had seven points and five assists and redshirt sophomore forward Josh Williams added six points for ESU.

Sophomore guard Nick Giordano had six of ESU's 24 assists.

Clarion (1-3) had four players in double figures in Manny Powell (17 points), Cameron Grumley (15), Jamal Pierce (15) and Justin Dobbs (13).

Senior guard BJ Andrews, a preseason All-PSAC West selection, was held to two points on 0-for-6 shooting in 29 minutes.

ESU had a 41-23 rebounding advantage, holding Clarion to 42.9 percent (24-for-56) from the field and just 5-for-16 from long distance.

Harris had 22 points and 12 rebounds in his season debut in an 87-74 win at Concordia (N.Y.) on Wednesday night, and had six points and nine rebounds in the first half vs. Clarion.

The Warriors pulled away from an 18-15 lead with a 9-2 run, including a three-pointer by Walls and a driving layup by Moore, to lead 27-17 with just over eight minutes left in the first half.

A 10-1 surge made it 44-27 on a layup by Wise, his only points of the first half, before a Clarion bucket just before the buzzer gave the Warriors a 15-point halftime lead.

The Warriors extended their margin to 20 points early in the second half and 30 just under the 10-minute mark.

Wise finished 6-for-7 from the field, 2-for-2 from the three-point line and 4-for-4 at the foul line for his 18 points. Harris (5-for-8), Moore (4-for-8 fg, 7-for-8 ft), Brice (6-for-8) and Walls (5-for-7, including 3-for-4 from 3) also had efficient games.

ESU shot 65.5 percent (19-for-29) in the second half and were 8-for-12 from long distance.

The Warriors host Pitt-Johnstown in the second half of this weekend's action on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse UPJ (3-1), picked third in the PSAC West preseason poll, won 71-70 at Bloomsburg on Saturday on a last-second basket by guard Dale Clancy.
