Ryan Krawczeniuk hit a go-ahead three-pointer with less than two minutes left, pushing East Stroudsburg University to a 66-60 win vs. Pitt-Johnstown in PSAC men's basketball on Sunday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.
ESU (3-2, 2-0) trailed by 11 in the first half and nine with 13 minutes left in the second half before rallying past UPJ (3-2, 1-1), which won its PSAC opener at Bloomsburg on Saturday. Both schools were picked third in their respective PSAC divisional polls, ESU in the East and UPJ in the West.
The Warriors closed the game on a 12-3 run, as Walls hit a game-tying three-pointer with 2:18 left, and after two UPJ turnovers, Krawczeniuk buried the go-ahead three 40 seconds later to make it 60-57 with 1:38 remaining.
UPJ's Ian Vescovi had a putback to close the gap to 60-59 at the one-minute mark, but the Warriors produced a layup by Moore, then got an offensive foul call on UPJ forward A.J. Leahey to regain possession with 21 seconds left.
Walls and Moore both made two free throws in the closing moments for ESU, which won its third straight game this week following an 87-74 win at Concordia (N.Y.) on Wednesday night and a 103-76 win vs. Clarion on Saturday.
Leahey, a two-time All-PSAC West first team pick, had 23 points and seven rebounds and Ian Vescovi had 10 points and nine boards to lead UPJ. Dale Clancy, who had the game-winner at Bloomsburg Saturday, was held to seven points on 2-for-9 shooting, all from long distance.

Moore had seven rebounds to go with his 18 points, and Walls had six rebounds and a team-high four assists.
Leahey had 15 of his 23 in the first half for UPJ, which led by 11 at three different points and by 10 at the 2:41 mark of the half before ESU scored the final six - a jumper by Walls, a steal and layup by Stoney and a putback by Moore - to close the margin to 34-30 at intermission.
Moore hit a three to open the second half before UPJ opened its lead back to nine (48-39) on a three-point play by Leahey at the 13:12 mark.
ESU scored the next six, including a three by Walls, to get to 48-45, and the Warriors took their first lead of the game (53-52) on a layup by Wise with 6:13 remaining.
UPJ led 57-54 with 2:33 left after Leahey split a pair of free throws, before Walls' game-tying three set up the finish.
ESU had advantages of +2 in turnovers (16-14) and +2 in rebounds (37-35) while shooting 12-for-14 from the foul line.
Both teams struggled from the three-point line, with ESU shooting 6-for-21 and UPJ 7-for-26.
Moore, a three-time All-PSAC East selection for the Warriors, has scored in double figures in every game and between 16 and 18 points in each of the last four games, averaging 15.8 points per game to open the season. He passed Eric White (1,226) for 15th in career points at ESU, finishing the afternoon with 1,234. He moved into ESU's career top 10 in rebounds (610) earlier this week.
The Warriors return to the floor on Wednesday afternoon with a non-conference game at Chestnut Hill, then host PSU Wilkes-Barre on Monday (November 28) at 7 p.m. following the Thanksgiving holiday.
