EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior forward Steve Harris had 18 points and 17 rebounds and sophomore guard Kitt Najee Walls had a career-high 18 points along with nine assists, leading East Stroudsburg University to a 99-66 win over PSU Wilkes-Barre in non-conference men's basketball on Monday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Harris had 10 points and 14 rebounds in the first half for ESU (4-3), which returns to PSAC action this weekend with a trip to northwest Pennsylvania for games at Edinboro on Saturday and Mercyhurst on Sunday. The Warriors opened conference play with a 2-0 record and home wins vs. Clarion (103-76) and Pitt-Johnstown (66-60) on November 19 and 20.

Harris posted his 10th career double-double and third in five games this season. He was 7-for-9 from the field and 4-for-6 at the foul line while tying his career-high with 17 boards.

Walls had 10 points, six assists and five steals before intermission, and surpassed his previous career-high of 16 points which he hit twice as a freshman. He finished one assist shy of his third career double-double.

Junior guard Ryan Krawczeniuk had 12 points, hitting two three-pointers in each half, redshirt sophomore forward Chris Bing had 11 points and six rebounds and redshirt junior forward Steven Stoney had 10 points and a career-high eight rebounds as the Warriors put five players in double figures.

Christopher Cantine scored a game-high 26 points for PSU Wilkes-Barre (3-5).

ESU led 56-31 at intermission, outscoring PSU Wilkes-Barre 27-10 in the final eight minutes of the half. The Warriors had a 15-2 stretch midway through the second half to extend their lead to 30.

Junior forward Ralik Wise had seven points and eight rebounds, all in the first half. Redshirt senior guard Quindell Brice, sophomore guard Nick Giordano and freshman guard Montrel Morgan scored five points each.

ESU had 18 steals, led by Walls (5) and Bing (3), and forced 28 turnovers.

The Warriors were 11-for-23 from the three-point line, with Walls and Krawczeniuk both connecting four times. Walls' four three's are a career-high.

This weekend's opponents were both picked to finish in the top half of the PSAC West. Edinboro was picked fifth, and Mercyhurst, the defending PSAC champion, was picked second.
