Dan Woodley combined for 17 strikeouts, leading No. 15-ranked East Stroudsburg University to a 9-1 win at USciences in non-conference baseball on Tuesday afternoon.
Klinger struck out eight, walked three and allowed three hits and just an unearned run in 5.0 innings, and Woodley struck out nine, walked one and didn't allow a hit in 4.0 innings to earn the save.

ESU's 17 strikeouts are tied for its most in a game since 2003.
Brian Ernst (10) and Keenan Stare (7) combined for 17 in a 6-3 (12 inn.) win at Chowan in 2013.
Earlier Tuesday, ESU (15-2) moved to No. 15 in this week's NCBWA Division II poll, up five spots from last week following a four-game sweep vs. IUP over the weekend.
Saverio hit a two-run homer after a two-out single by Rishel in the second inning, and the Warriors added two more runs in the fifth on a two-out RBI single by redshirt senior 3B

Robert Bennie singled, advanced on a passed ball and scored on an RBI single by Rishel in the seventh for a 5-1 lead.
The Warriors scored two more runs in both the eighth and ninth innings, including a two-out, two-RBI single by Sablinski to add to the lead in the ninth.

Ian Allen had two hits, Hercik was 2-for-3 with two walks, Rishel was 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run, Saverio was 1-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and two runs and Sablinski was 3-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and two runs.
ESU entered the week ranked second in DII in runs per game (12.6), third in batting average (.388), first in on-base percentage (.496), second in slugging percentage (.647), third in home runs per game (1.81) and fifth in stolen bases per game (2.88).
ESU opens its PSAC East schedule this weekend with four games vs. Bloomsburg, hosting the Huskies on Friday at 1 p.m. and traveling to BU on Saturday.
