BREVARD, N.C. - Redshirt senior tailback
Robert Healy ran for 139 yards and three touchdowns, and redshirt senior quarterback
Bruce Campbell threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns in his fourth career start as East Stroudsburg University won its 2016 football season opener, 49-14, at Brevard College on Thursday night.
Healy had his second career game with three TD, and first with three rushing TD, as the Warriors led 14-7 at halftime before outscoring Brevard 21-0 in the third quarter, including two TD by Healy.

Sean Roth in the second quarter and 31 yards to junior wide receiver

Junior tailback
Jaymar Anderson had eight carries for 79 yards and a TD and sophomore tailback
James Bell had six carries for 19 yards and a TD, both scoring in the fourth quarter.
Wilson had five catches for 58 yards and a TD and accumulated 109 all-purpose yards, including a 23-yard kick return, 19-yard punt return and nine-yard run.
Redshirt senior tight end
Anthony Castillo had two catches for 61 yards, including a 44-yarder to set Campbell's 10-yard TD to Roth, and Roth had two catches for 36 yards.
Healy added two catches for 17 yards for 156 yards from scrimmage. ESU's career leader in rushing yards (2,830) and yards from scrimmage (4,352) entering his senior season, Healy moved within 31 yards of becoming the first ESU player with 3,000 career rushing yards.
Healy had his 11th career 100-yard rushing game, second-most in school history behind Andre Castiglioni's 14 (1999-01). He had his 28th game with 100 yards from scrimmage in his 34th career game, extending his school record.
The Warriors gained 475 yards on 73 plays, with 271 yards on 46 carries and 204 passing yards.
ESU's 271 rushing yards are its most in 43 season openers under head coach
Denny Douds, and Healy's 139 rushing yards are third-most in a season opener.
Campbell was 14-for-26 for 201 yards and two TD, going 8-for-10 for 102 yards and a TD in the second half. Redshirt freshman quarterback
Gabe French was 1-for-1 for three yards, completing his first career attempt.
Brevard finished with 177 yards on 52 plays - 162 yards on 47 rushes, and 15 yards passing (2-for-5).
The Tornados had a pair of long TD drives - 15 plays for 78 yards spanning the first and second quarters, and 16 plays for 77 yards spanning the third and fourth quarters - but just 22 yards on its other 21 plays.

Marc Ranaudo had nine tackles, redshirt junior linebacker
Sekou Jones had eight tackles including a sack, and redshirt junior linebacker
Mike Wiand had five tackles to lead the defense.
ESU was 10-for-14 on third down conversions while holding Brevard to 5-for-13. Both teams converted both of their fourth-down attempts.
ESU hosts No. 8-ranked IUP, the PSAC West preseason favorite, in its home opener on Saturday at 6:05 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
