EAST STROUDSBURG - Jan Striewe headed in a corner kick 1:45 into overtime, giving Shippensburg a 1-0 (OT) win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC men's soccer on Saturday afternoon at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
ESU (0-1, 0-1) had a 21-6 advantage in shots in regulation in its season opener, but Shippensburg (2-0, 1-0) produced the game's only goal on a corner kick taken by Colten Arnold.

Will Boerema saved a penalty kick by Arnold 2:21 into the second half to keep the game scoreless after ESU outshot the Raiders, 12-2, in the first 45 minutes.
The Warriors posted a 2-1 (OT) win at Shippensburg last year.
Boerema had three saves for ESU, including the penalty kick stop. Garret Watson had seven saves to record the shutout for Shippensburg.
ESU travels to Bloomfield on Tuesday for a non-conference game and returns to PSAC action next Saturday at Pitt-Johnstown.
