EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore guard Kitt Najee Walls scored 14 points to lead four Warriors in double figures as East Stroudsburg University prevailed for a 66-57 win over Mansfield in PSAC East men's basketball on Wednesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Redshirt sophomore forward Chris Bing had 12 points and nine rebounds, finishing one shy of his second double-double in three games, redshirt senior guard Quindell Brice scored 11, senior forward Rasheed Moore had 10 points and seven rebounds and junior guard Ryan Krawczeniuk scored all nine of his points in the second half for ESU (14-5, 12-2 PSAC).

The Warriors remain tied with Kutztown (16-2, 12-2), which won 110-85 vs. West Chester, for second in the PSAC East. Shippensburg (18-0, 14-0) stayed unbeaten with an 84-72 win vs. Pitt-Johnstown.

Malik Carter had 22 points and nine rebounds and Da'Quan Jones added 10 points for Mansfield (7-10, 5-9), which has dropped five of its last six after a 6-5 start.

ESU held a 12-rebound advantage (42-30), its second-largest in 14 PSAC games this winter, including 13 on the offensive glass which led to a 12-7 edge in second chance points. Junior forward Ralik Wise supplemented Bing and Moore's work with seven points and five boards.

Mansfield led throughout the first half and by as many as nine (31-22) with less than three minutes left before the Warriors closed the half on a 10-0 run, capped by a three-point play by Moore and a three-pointer by Brice, to lead 32-31 at intermission.

The first 15 minutes of the second half were played within a seven-point window - Mansfield by as many as two, and ESU by as many as five - with the Mounties closing it to 49-48 on a jumper by Carter with 4:58 left.

The Warriors scored the next seven points in just over a minute - a Moore layup assisted by Brice, a driving layup by Brice and a three by Krawczeniuk following a steal by redshirt sophomore guard Jakwan Jones - to lead 56-48 with 3:50 remaining.

After a layup by Carter, ESU scored the next six to extend its run to 13-2 as Walls drove for a layup, Krawczeniuk had an offensive rebound and layup and Bing (4-for-5 fg, 4-for-4 ft) made two at the line.

The Warriors made just two of their final six free throws, but Mansfield wasn't able to pull closer than seven points in the last minute.

Mansfield's Matt Tamanosky (18.3 ppg), the PSAC leader in field goal percentage (64.0) entering the week, was 2-for-8 from the field for six points.

Moore's seven rebounds give him 702 in his career, moving past Channon Easley (698 - 2004-08) for sixth in school history and just one from the No. 5 spot held by Todd Painton (703 - 1988-92).

Moore has 1,476 career points, seven from Keith Fisher (1,483 - 1987-91) for fifth. He also had two blocks and moved into ESU's top 10 on the career list with 79.
