Box Score

EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior forward Rasheed Moore had 19 points and 10 rebounds, sophomore guard Kitt Najee Walls had 17 points and five assists and redshirt senior guard Quindell Brice added 15 points as East Stroudsburg University improved to 9-3 (7-0 PSAC) with a 115-78 win over Lock Haven on Tuesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

ESU extended its second-best unbeaten PSAC start in program history led by Moore's second double-double of the season and the 13th of his career. He moved into eighth at ESU in career scoring (1,351 points), surpassing Duane Johnson (1,347) and Terrance King (1,337) one game after moving into the Warriors' top 10.

The Warriors won their sixth straight game and ninth in 10 outings. ESU, second in the PSAC in scoring (85.2 ppg) entering the evening, topped 100 points for the fourth time in seven PSAC games this season. The 115 points are tied for fifth-most vs. a PSAC school in program history.

Walls had 13 points in the first half as the Warriors led 51-41, and scored four of ESU's first eight points in the second half to finish with 17 - one off his career-high.

Brice, averaging 16.0 points over his last four games, scored 15 points in 22 minutes of action.

Redshirt sophomore forward Josh Williams had a season-high 14 points off the bench, going 5-for-6 from the field and 3-for-3 from the three-point line.

Junior guard Ryan Krawczeniuk gave the Warriors nine points and redshirt sophomore guard Jakwan Jones had eight points and four assists.

ESU opened the game hot, making 10 of its first 12 shots and grabbing a pair of offensive rebounds, and opened a 28-19 lead with just under 13 minutes left in the first half on a pair of three's by Walls.

Lock Haven (6-5, 2-5) pulled back within four twice, the second time at 38-34, before the Warriors closed the first half on a 13-7 stretch to get into the locker room with a 10-point lead.

The Warriors outscored LHU 64-37 in the second half, opening with the first six points, eventually pushing their advantage to 20 (74-54) on a tip-in by Brice at the 12-minute mark and then 30 (95-64) as part of a 14-1 run capped by the second of three triples by Williams in a five-minute stretch in the second half.

Redshirt freshman Amir Hinton, fourth in the PSAC in scoring (22.1 ppg), scored 17 of his 25 points in the first half for Lock Haven but picked up a technical foul for his third foul of the half with five minutes remaining.

Cole Renninger (14) and Ra'eese Hunt (12) were also in double figures for LHU, which shot 38.9 percent from the field (21-for-54) and was 32-for-51 at the foul line.

ESU shot 58.8 percent (47-for-80), including 9-for-24 from long distance.

The Warriors were plus-nine in turnover margin (23-14), plus-eight in rebounding margin (42-34) and had 14 steals, including three each by Moore and sophomore guard Nick Giordano (5 points).

ESU won its sixth straight in the series vs. Lock Haven and went over the 100-point mark for the fifth time in the last eight games vs. LHU.

The Warriors' 115 points are their most-ever in 61 games vs. LHU, leading the all-time series 36-25. The 37-point margin of victory is the second-largest following a 94-51 road win in January 2012.

ESU's 7-0 PSAC start trails only a 10-0 start by the 2013-14 team that posted a 15-1 PSAC East record, went 30-2 overall, won the PSAC championship and reached the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region final.

The Warriors are averaging 93.3 points per game in conference action this winter.

ESU hits the road on Friday, traveling to Millersville (5-6, 4-3) for a 7:30 p.m. tip at Pucillo Gymnasium. The Marauders fell to unbeaten Shippensburg (11-0, 7-0), 96-75, on Tuesday night.
