EAST STROUDSBURG - Michael Keir threw for 350 yards and two touchdowns, leading California (Pa.) to a 31-14 win over East Stroudsburg University in the Warriors' 2017 football season finale on Saturday afternoon at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
Luke Smorey had 10 receptions for 119 yards and a TD for the Vulcans (9-2), who were listed No. 9 in the NCAA DII Super Region 1 rankings last week. Five of the top eight schools lost this week, with a shake-up pending prior to the national field announcement and the region's top seven seeds advancing on Sunday.
Keir completed 29-of-48 passes without an interception, leading a Cal offense that gained 491 yards on 78 plays. Jimmy Wheeler had 13 carries for 87 yards and a TD, and starter Jalen Bell had 11 carries for 43 yards in the first half.
Redshirt freshman quarterback
Ben Moser was 21-for-41 for 180 yards, two TD and an interception and had 12 carries for 53 yards for ESU (3-8), which won 37-27 at Lock Haven last week.
Redshirt junior tailback
Jaymar Anderson caught an 18-yard TD pass from Moser and finished with 30 total yards, with seven carries for 12 yards.
Anderson finishes the season with 1,046 rushing yards, sixth-most in school history. He had 30 carries for 200 yards and three TD last week.
Redshirt junior tailback
Marquis Fells had six catches for 53 yards and sophomore wide receiver
Elijah Rehm had four catches for 49 yards and a TD late in the fourth quarter. Redshirt freshman tailback

Senior linebacker
Dakota Everett had 12 tackles, finishing with 101 stops on the season. Redshirt seniors

Sekou Jones finished with 83 and 81 tackles, respectively, as ESU's top three tackles.
Redshirt junior free safety
Billy Inge III had a forced fumble early in the second quarter, his sixth of the season, to tie the school record set by redshirt sophomore safety
Justin Johnson earlier this fall. Inge finishes with six forced fumbles in nine games (0.67), expected to be the national statistical leader through the end of the season. Johnson, who did not play Saturday due to injury, had six in 10 games (0.60).
Senior wide receiver
Tim Wilson closes his career with 133 catches (11th at ESU) for 2,042 yards (13th) and 16 TD. He had 53 receptions for 821 yards and four TD this fall after posting 58 catches for 910 yards and eight TD as a junior.
Redshirt senior center
Devon Ackerman made his 44th consecutive start, becoming the fifth ESU player in the last 15 years to start every game of his career - joining QB
Jimmy Terwilliger and WR Evan Prall (

46 - 2004-07) and OL Dan Caffrey (
45 - 2008-11).
Sophomore cornerback
Andre' Gray had six pass breakups, closing the year with 13 passes defensed (two interceptions, 11 pass breakups).
Moser was 105-for-220 for 1,299 yards, eight TD and just three interceptions in seven starts. Anderson averaged 95.1 rushing yards per game, and Wilson averaged 74.6 receiving yards per game, accounting 12Â of ESU's 20 offensive touchdowns.
Fells averaged 26.4 yards on kick returns, 10th-best in school history, and 13.4 yards on punt returns, sixth-best all-time.
