Marc Rodriguez had 17 in his debut to lead seven East Stroudsburg University players in double figures in a 113-71 win at Clarion in PSAC men's basketball and the Warriors' season opener on Saturday.

Josh Williams added eight points and five rebounds, nearly giving ESU a fourth double-digit scorer off the bench along with Rodriguez, Krawczeniuk and Wise.
ESU's seven double-figure scorers are its most in a PSAC game under Wilson, encompassing 246 contests since 2002-03.
The Warriors shot 51.3 percent (41-for-80) from the field, 16-for-35 from the three-point line and 15-for-18 from the foul line for their second-highest road scoring output in the last 15 years.
ESU has seven 100-point games in three of the last four years (2013-14, 2014-15, 2016-17), and set a school record with 88.3 points per game last year.
DII's top team in turnover margin in the last five years (+5.26) posted a 28-21 margin, including forcing 18 turnovers in the first half while posting a 54-31 lead at intermission.
Nwandu's four thefts provided a quarter of ESU's 16 steals. The Warriors had a 49-37 rebounding advantage with 17 offensive rebounds.
Clarion (2-2, 0-1) shot just 40.3 percent (27-for-67) and was 1-for-14 from long distance. Kuante' Sargent (13 points), Khari Williams (12) and Zavyer Kraft (11) scored in double figures.
The Warriors remain on the road on Sunday at Pitt-Johnstown (2-1, 1-0), which won 92-65 vs. Bloomsburg on Saturday. UPJ opened with a 79-75 loss vs. Virginia State before an 80-69 win vs. Urbana in a tournament at IUP last weekend.
