JOHNSTOWN - Redshirt senior forward
Steve Harris had 21 points, one off his career-high, to lead six double-figure scorers and East Stroudsburg University scored 61 points in the second half, surging to a 99-88 road win at Pitt-Johnstown in PSAC men's basketball on Sunday afternoon.
ESU (2-0, 2-0), which opened the year with a 113-71 win at Clarion on Saturday, shot 65.6 percent (21-for-32) from the field and 6-for-10 from the three-point line after halftime, and outscored UPJ (2-2, 1-1) 17-4 in a key three-minute stretch to open its biggest lead of the game with just under seven minutes left.
Harris, who returned for a fifth season after missing all but five games last year, was 9-for-11 from the field and is 14-for-17 (82.4 percent) to open the year. He entered his final year with a career 62.1 percent mark, the best in school history.
Sophomore forward
Kobi Nwandu scored 15 points to set a career-high for the second straight game, going 7-for-11 from the field. Senior forward
Ralik Wise also had 15 along with eight rebounds and three steals, shooting 4-for-7 from the floor and 7-for-9 at the foul line.
Freshman guard
Marc Rodriguez scored 14 after going for 17 at Clarion in his debut on Saturday. He was 5-for-7 from the field and 4-for-6 from the three-point line, giving him a 9-for-16 mark from long distance for the weekend.
Redshirt junior guard
Jakwan Jones had 12 points and a career-high nine assists, including 10 points, six assists and all three of his steals in the second half.
Senior guard
Ryan Krawczeniuk added 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting (2-for-3 from three).
Josh Wise had 27 points, Isaac Vescovi scored 19 and Levi Masua had 18 points and 10 boards for UPJ, which lost despite shooting 60.0 percent (33-for-55).
UPJ was undone by a 24-14 turnover differential, with ESU nabbing 15 steals after posting 16 steals among 28 turnovers in Saturday's win at Clarion.
Dale Clancy, first team All-PSAC West last year, had 10 points and six assists but was also responsible for nine of UPJ's 24 miscues. Drew Magestro added 10 points.
ESU had a 47-14 advantage in bench scoring and put three bench players in double figures for the second straight game - after doing it for the first time in 246 PSAC games under 16th-year head coach

UPJ finished with a 30-29 rebounding edge - but ESU held a 17-9 margin in the second half after UPJ posted a 21-12 advantage in the first.
UPJ led 41-38 at halftime in an opening 20 minutes that included 13-0 and 11-0 runs by UPJ, and a 22-4 run by ESU with spurts of 9-0, 8-0 and 6-0.
The Warriors faced their largest second-half deficit (51-44) with 16:16 left - then went on a 10-0 run to lead for the first time since late in the first half.

Nick Giordano, who was coming off an 18-point game at Clarion Saturday.
An 8-0 stretch, bookended by three's by Rodriguez, made it 80-67 at the 6:49 mark, and the Warriors led by at least eight the rest of the way.
ESU is averaging 106.0 points per game after setting a school record (88.3 ppg) last winter.
