EAST STROUDSBURG - Redshirt junior forward Josh Williams and redshirt junior guard Jakwan Jones had career-highs with 18 and 14 points, respectively, leading East Stroudsburg University to a 111-77 win over Chestnut Hill in non-conference men's basketball on Wednesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

ESU (3-0, 2-0 PSAC), which is averaging 107.7 points per game during a 3-0 start, scored 66 points in the first half - its most vs. an NCAA Division II opponent under 16th-year head coach Jeff Wilson.

Williams had 14 of his 18 in the first half, and Jones had all of his 14 in the opening period. Jones finished with eight assists after posting five at the break. He had 12 points and a career-high nine assists in Sunday's 99-88 win at Pitt-Johnstown.

Sophomore forward Kobi Nwandu had his third straight strong game with 13 points, five rebounds and four steals. Senior forward Ralik Wise had 13 points and seven rebounds, and redshirt senior forward Steve Harris had 10 points on 3-for-3 shooting - pushing his season mark to 17-for-20 from the field while averaging a team-best 14.0 points per game.

Senior guard Ryan Krawczeniuk had nine points, freshman forward Mike Millsip had eight points, five rebounds and four steals in a team-high 18 minutes, sophomore forward Kristian Alexander scored seven and junior guard Kitt Najee Walls added six points and four assists.

ESU had advantages of 27-11 in turnovers and 51-32 in rebounding for a commanding 88-50 margin in field goal attempts. The Warriors had 26 offensive rebounds, while Chestnut Hill (1-4) had just three.

Demetrius Isaac scored 24 points, including 12-for-15 at the foul line, Liban Awl had 17 and Cartier Talford scored 11 but had nine of CHC's 27 turnovers.

Williams had three of ESU's five blocked shots. The Warriors had 17 steals, giving them 48 through the first three games (16.0 per game). ESU has ranked in the top 15 in DII in steals in each of the last five years, averaging just over 10 per game in that span.

ESU improves to 96-21 at Koehler Fieldhouse since the start of the 2009-10 season, including 37-3 vs. non-conference opponents.

Six Warriors are averaging double figures through three games in Harris (14.0), Wise (13.0), Nwandu (13.0), Jones (12.0), freshman guard Marc Rodriguez (11.3) and Krawczeniuk (10.7), with Williams just under that mark at 9.3 ppg after Wednesday's 18-point outing.

ESU returns to action after the Thanksgiving break on Monday night vs. Concordia (N.Y.), a 7 p.m. tip at Koehler Fieldhouse.
