Four Warriors had multiple hits in the opener, and five had multiple hits in the nightcap. Allen was the only player to do it in both games - going 3-for-3 with two RBI in game one, and 3-for-5 with six RBI and four runs in game two.
The Warriors (4-3) finish their four-game weekend in Virginia on Sunday vs. Shepherd in a match-up of 2016 NCAA Division II Tournament teams.
GAME 1 - W 9-3
Allen had two strikeouts in five of his six innings pitched, didn't issue a walk and improved to 10-2 in 20 career starts (117 strikeouts in 100.0 innings).
He was involved in much of the scoring as well, helping ESU to a 2-0 lead in the first inning as redshirt senior 2B
Jay Young singled, Allen walked, Tamecki had an RBI single and the Warriors plated another run on an error.
Allen had a two-out RBI triple in the second to plate Edwards, who singled earlier in the frame, to make it 3-0.
Philadelphia U got a solo homer in the bottom of the second, but Allen threw a 1-2-3 third and ESU added two runs in the top of the fourth. Freeman hit a leadoff homer to right center, his first of the day, and Edwards singled, stole second and scored on a two-out RBI double by Allen.
It was 5-3 through four after the Rams scored twice in the bottom of the inning, but the Warriors seized complete control with a four-run fifth.
ESU had five hits in the frame, with a three-run homer by Freeman the big blow after junior C
Steven Zimmerman, Jr. walked and senior SS
Billy Sablinski singled. Edwards doubled and scored on an RBI single by Young to make it 9-3.
Allen stranded a two-out single in the sixth, and junior right-hander
Nick DiEva pitched a perfect seventh with two strikeouts to end it.
Young (2-for-4, RBI, 2 runs), Allen (3-for-3, 2 RBI), Freeman (2-for-4, 4 RBI, 2 runs) and Edwards (3-for-4, 2 runs) all had multiple hits.
GAME 2 - W 21-8
ESU led 3-2 after the first inning, and 19-2 after the second, following its biggest inning in at least 15 years.
Allen had an RBI double and Tamecki hit a three-run homer in the first before the Warriors sent 19 batters to the plate and scored 16 runs in the second stanza.
Tamecki homered twice in the inning as ESU had 11 hits and drew three walks.
Junior 3B
Laine Renaud hit three times in the inning and doubled in his first two at bats. Redshirt sophomore catcher

Renaud doubled and Edwards struck out but reached on a wild pitch to open the frame. Freshman SS

Tom Nuneviller walked to load the bases. Allen had an RBI groundout before Tamecki hit a three-run homer to center for his first of the inning and second of the game.
Freeman walked, Sulcoski singled, Renaud had an RBI double and Edwards belted a two-RBI double before stealing third and scoring on a wild pitch. Paolini reached on an error, Young walked, Nuneviller had an RBI double and Allen pounded a two-RBI double - followed by another homer by Tamecki, a two-run shot for his third of the game.
After the second out of the inning, Sulcoski hit a solo homer to left for the inning's 16th run which gave the Warriors a 19-2 cushion.
Redshirt senior RHP
Conner Crookham allowed just two first-inning runs through three innings, but ran into trouble in the fourth, surrendering three runs before giving way to junior right-hander
Joe Cominsky. The Warriors got out of the that inning but Cominsky yielded three in the fifth with redshirt freshman RHP
Chris Crookham entering to get out of it with no further damage.
Chris Crookham threw the final 3.0 innings, all scoreless, allowing one hit and striking out three, to earn the decision in relief for his first career win.
