EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior forward Eddy Enowbi scored two goals in the opening 13 minutes, and freshman forward Anton Lysell added two strikes late in the first half as East Stroudsburg University cruised to a 6-0 home victory over Shepherd on Tuesday evening.

Freshman midfielder Nils Bjorquist and redshirt sophomore midfielder Ahmad Awadalla also scored for the Warriors (2-1-1), who totaled their most goals since Sept. 12, 2015 against Pitt-Johnstown (6-2). The six goal margin of victory was the program's largest since a 7-0 triumph over Seton Hill on Sept. 30, 2012.

Junior Will Boerema and sophomores Steven Robak and Riley Lougee combined for the shutout in goal, with Lougee stopping the only shot on goal for the Rams (0-6-1) with less than a minute remaining in regulation.

Senior back Shaquille Stephenson and freshman forward Michael Tolley each registered a pair of assists in the win, while Boerema and sophomore forward Irvin Zuzic added helpers for ESU. Boerema's assist was the first point of his collegiate career.

Stephenson and Zuzic each contributed to Enowbi's opener in the third minute. Zuzic chested Stephenson's pass from midfield down to Enowbi, who fired a high shot past Shepherd goalkeeper Jacob Dougal. Enowbi's second marker came 13:01 into the first half, as he put in his own rebound after Dougal made the initial stop.

Bjorquist got on the board less than 30 seconds after entering the game as a substitute in his collegiate debut. He dispatched a failed clear from a Shepherd defender straight into the back of the net following an ESU corner kick in the 35th minute.

Lysell's two goals came within 1:54 of each other in the final five minutes of the half. Tolley assisted on both of his strikes, with Boerema registering a second assist on Lysell's first collegiate tally.

Awadalla's first goal at ESU closed out the scoring in the 74th minute. He chested down a long ball from Stephenson and directed an effort into the lower left-hand corner of the goal.

The Warriors had an 18-3 advantage in shots overall, including a 10-0 margin in the opening 45 minutes.

Robak relieved Boerema in goal at the start of the second half, while Lougee came on with under 12 minutes to play. His first collegiate save was a leaping fingertip stop on a long-range attempt from Shepherd's Justin Marshall with 47 seconds left.

ESU returns to PSAC play for its next two contests over the weekend. The Warriors travel to California for a 7 p.m. contest on Friday before returning to Eiler-Martin Stadium to face Millersville at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
