EAST STROUDSBURG – Ahmed Qaisi headed in the game-winner 2:19 into double-overtime, as No. 15 Millersville rallied past East Stroudsburg University for a 3-2 victory at Eiler-Martin Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Marauders (6-0-1, 2-0 PSAC) tied the score on a Matteo Adiletta goal in the 87th minute, and Qaisi directed in a corner kick from Kody Eberly to complete the comeback.

Senior back James McMahon and sophomore forward Irvin Zuzic had the goals for the Warriors (3-2-1, 1-2 PSAC), while Zuzic, junior midfielder Brandon Levano and sophomore forward Lata Petros added assists.

Millersville ended the afternoon with a 15-11 edge in shots, including a 5-0 margin after regulation. Junior goalkeeper Will Boerema and Marauder goalie Darian McCauley each finished with three saves.

McMahon opened up the scoring in the 12th minute. Levano led Zuzic in on the left side, and Zucic sent a cross to the center of the box which was calmly tucked into the goal by the Montoursville, Pa., native. The goal was McMahon's first of the season and his third overall at ESU.

After the visitors equalized against the run of play on a Marcus Frangakis put-back goal in the 40th minute, the Warriors regained the lead less than five minutes into the second half. Petros sent in a cross from the left side which was blasted into the back of the net by Zuzic, who registered his second career three-point game. Petros, meanwhile, picked up his first collegiate assist on the play.

Millersville again pulled level with under five minute to play in regulation, and Qaisi's header kept the Marauders without a defeat through their first seven games.

The Warriors will look to regroup on Wednesday, when they travel to Shippensburg for a PSAC matchup scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
