EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior Bailey Quinn scored a pair of goals, while junior Grace Martini and freshman Celeste Veenstra added solo strikes in a 4-0 home victory over IUP on Saturday.

The Warriors (11-2, 6-0 PSAC) won their seventh consecutive game, and they picked up their ninth shutout of the season while limiting the Crimson Hawks (3-10, 2-4 PSAC) to a single shot on goal.

Martini cashed in on one of the few scoring chances for either side in the first half, as she took a pass from senior Makenna Marhefka and fired her third goal of the year into the left corner 25:18 into the contest.

Shots were 4-0, ESU, at the intermission, and the home side upped that margin to 8-2 in the final 35 minutes.

Junior Karly Conway set up Quinn's first marker in the 40th minute, lifting a pass into the circle which Quinn batted out of midair into the back of the cage.

Quinn's third goal came 10 minutes later, when she swept a pass from junior Kristen English into the left-hand side of the cage. The multi-goal effort her second of the year and her eighth overall at ESU.

Veenstra rounded out the scoring at 55:34, as she lifted a perfectly placed backhand shot into the top right corner for her seventh goal in the last seven contests.

Veenstra, Quinn and Conway are now tied for the team lead with seven goals apiece overall on the year.

IUP's only shot on goal in the contest was turned away by sophomore goalkeeper Margaret Fulton with 4:05 remaining. Junior goalkeeper Maddie Richie played the first 59:34 to secure her 11th victory of the season.

The Warriors have now won seven consecutive games over the Crimson Hawks by a combined margin of 25-3. ESU and West Chester remain as the only two unbeaten teams atop the PSAC standings.

After three-straight at Whitenight Field, the Warriors hit the road for their next two contests, beginning with a 6 p.m. tilt at Millersville on Tuesday.
