ESU Women’s Golf Moves to 7th Place after Day 2 of PSAC Championships

HERSHEY, Pa. – Sophomore Micaela Crines carded an 85 on Saturday, leading East Stroudsburg University on Day 2 of the PSAC Championships at Hershey Country Club.

Crines improved on her opening round score by two strokes. The Warriors shot 357 as a team in Round 2, dropping them one spot down to seventh place in the overall standings with a two-day score of 702.

ESU is two ahead of eighth-place Seton Hill and 14 back of Millersville in sixth place.

Freshman Tatum Henry continues to lead the Warriors individually, as she has a two-day total of 169 after shooting an 88 this afternoon. Henry is tied for 18th out of 44 competing golfers.

Crines is tied for 24th overall, while junior Amy Bergquist (85-94) is tied for 28th and senior Caterina Daniels (92-90) is tied for 33rd.

West Chester's Juliarose Genuardi (71-75) is two strokes ahead of teammate Bridget Pyott (74-74) in the individual standings, and the Golden Rams are 36 ahead of second-place Gannon in the team rankings.

The third and final round of the conference tournament is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning.
