Farian's 12 kills were backed by a .688 attack percentage. The Griffins (18-8, 11-4 PSAC) hit .583 in the match-clinching third set.

Junior Sarah Smith had a team-high 10 kills for the Warriors (19-8, 9-6 PSAC), leaving her one away from reaching 1,000 for her collegiate career. Freshman Andrea Coyle added nine kills, while freshman Emily Meredith supplied 13 digs.

The first set was the most competitive of the match, as a kill by junior Jasmine Williams reduced the Warrior deficit to 21-20 in the later stages of the frame. Seton Hill, though, won four of the final five points, and maintained comfortable advantages in the final two sets.

The Griffins were ranked No. 6 in the initial NCAA Division II Atlantic Region rankings released on Wednesday, two spots ahead of ESU at No. 8. Seton Hill remained in a tie for first place with California in the PSAC Southwest standings.

The Warriors now hold a one-game lead over Millersville (13-11, 8-7 PSAC) in the Southeast division after the Marauders completed a 3-0 sweep over IUP this afternoon.

ESU's final three games of the regular season will all be against Southeast opponents, beginning with a 7 p.m. home contest against Kutztown on Tuesday. Senior Tina Predojevic will be recognized prior to the match, as she plays in her final regular season home game at Koehler Fieldhouse.
