EAST STROUDSBURG – Viktoria Farian had 12 kills and 13 digs, and Seton Hill hit .341 as a team in a 3-0 victory over East Stroudsburg University at Koehler Fieldhouse on Saturday. Set scores were 25-21, 25-16, 25-12.
Farian's 12 kills were backed by a .688 attack percentage. The Griffins (18-8, 11-4 PSAC) hit .583 in the match-clinching third set.

Sarah Smith had a team-high 10 kills for the Warriors (19-8, 9-6 PSAC), leaving her one away from reaching 1,000 for her collegiate career. Freshman

The first set was the most competitive of the match, as a kill by junior
Jasmine Williams reduced the Warrior deficit to 21-20 in the later stages of the frame. Seton Hill, though, won four of the final five points, and maintained comfortable advantages in the final two sets.
The Griffins were ranked No. 6 in the initial NCAA Division II Atlantic Region rankings released on Wednesday, two spots ahead of ESU at No. 8. Seton Hill remained in a tie for first place with California in the PSAC Southwest standings.
The Warriors now hold a one-game lead over Millersville (13-11, 8-7 PSAC) in the Southeast division after the Marauders completed a 3-0 sweep over IUP this afternoon.
ESU's final three games of the regular season will all be against Southeast opponents, beginning with a 7 p.m. home contest against Kutztown on Tuesday. Senior
