1 • ESU's football program begins a new era, as interim head coach Jimmy Terwilliger leads the Warriors into the PSAC East finale on Saturday at Shippensburg.
Denny Douds announced he was stepping aside following 45 seasons as last week's home finale concluded at Eiler-Martin Stadium
• Douds was NCAA's active leader in wins and games coached
• 264 wins (PSAC record, 16th in NCAA history)
• 471 games (DII record, 7th in NCAA history)
• 45 seasons, ranking:
   * t-7th in NCAA history
   * 5th in years at one school
   * 4th in years among coaches who spent entire
      career at one school
• led ESU to 9 PSAC East titles, 4 NCAA Playoffs

2 • Terwilliger, the 2005 Harlon Hill Award winner as the most outstanding player in DII, set 18 DII records and 2 NCAA all-division records as QB at ESU from 2003-06.
• named associate head coach in February
• 4th season on ESU's staff
• led ESU to Northeast Region title in 2005

3 • 2nd Harlon Hill recipient to coach alma mater
   (Chris Hatcher, Valdosta State - 1994; 2000-06)
• 9th head coach in ESU history

4 • Last time out: ESU trailed 31-0 before scoring 5 TD in the final 18 minutes in a 48-35 loss vs Ohio Dominican. The Warriors scored 28 4th-quarter points and recovered 2 onside kicks.

5 • R-Fr. QB Jake Cirillo was 34-for-59 for 418 yards and 3 TD vs Ohio Dominican, the 2nd-most passing yards by a freshman in school history - and setting ESU freshman records for completions and attempts.

• 11th ESU QB with 400 yds (10th under Douds)
• 29th 400-yd game in ESU history (ranks 24th)

6 • Shippensburg is also led by a redshirt freshman QB in Brycen Mussina, who leads PSAC in passing yards (325.9 ypg) and TD (28).

7 • R-Sr. TB Jaymar Anderson is 3rd in PSAC in rushing (116.7 ypg) (did not play last week due to injury, and is not listed in 2-deep this week)

   (including 239 yards, 6 TD vs. Seton Hill)
• 100 yards in 10 of 18 starts in career

8 • Sr. OL Michael Fleming can become ESU's 11th 4-time All-PSAC East selection.

THE SERIES: Shippensburg leads, 33-18-2, entering the 54th meeting
• Douds was 4-15-1 vs. Ship, including 14-14 tie in 1976 State Game (ended ESU 19-game win streak)
• Ship holds 8-2 lead since moving to PSAC East in 2008

• AP Little All-America DT (1991, 1992); 1991 NCAA Playoff game at ESU won by Ship, 34-33 (OT) - Douds 183rd game

• NCAA Playoff appearances in 1991, 2004, 2005 and 2009
• 2005 team won Northeast Region title and advanced to the national semifinals
