LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Gabrielle Stick totaled 15 kills and 17 digs, leading three Lock Haven players with double-digit kills in a 3-1 victory over East Stroudsburg University on Friday. Set scores were 23-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-23.
Junior
Sarah Smith had a match-high 19 kills to go along with 14 digs for the Warriors (16-4, 6-2 PSAC), who despite the loss remained a game ahead of West Chester in the PSAC Southeast division standings. The Bald Eagles (8-9, 3-5 PSAC) earned their third-consecutive victory.
Junior
Jasmine Williams added six blocks for the visitors. She now has 257 blocks in her ESU career, moving her alone into third place all-time in program history.
Smith surpassed 900 kills for career with tonight's effort. The double-double was her 30th overall at ESU, and her 11th in 20 matches this fall.
Freshman
Emily Meredith added 26 digs for the Warriors, eclipsing 25 for a third-straight match, while junior
Sam Dunphy chipped in seven kills and 10 digs.
Lock Haven limited ESU to a .084 team hitting percentage.
The Warriors remain on the road on Saturday, traveling to Bloomsburg for a 7 p.m. matchup.
