1 • ESU closes the 2018 season with a trip to Clarion for its first meeting with the Golden Eagles since 2013, and first road trip since 2012.

2 • Both head coaches led their schools to NCAA DII semifinal appearances as quarterbacks - ESU interim head coach Jimmy Terwilliger (2005) and Clarion head coach Chris Weibel (1996).
• Terwilliger (ESU '07) and Weibel (Clarion '98) are among 4 PSAC head coaches who played at their alma mater, along with Mark Maciejewski (Shippensburg) and Gary Dunn (California)
• Terwilliger was 3-0 vs. Clarion in career (Weibel did not face ESU in career)

3 • Terwilliger is in his 2nd week as interim head coach, after Denny Douds announced he was stepping aside following 45 seasons as ESU's home finale vs. Ohio Dominican concluded at Eiler-Martin Stadium on Oct. 27.
• Douds was NCAA's active leader in wins and games coached
• 264 wins (PSAC record, 16th in NCAA history)
