MILLERSVILLE – Tony Staffieri ran for 118 yards and a touchdown and threw for 151 yards, and Joey Farley made the go-ahead field goal in the third quarter, leading Millersville to an 11-10 win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC East football on Thursday night at rainy Biemsderfer Stadium.

It was 10-2 at halftime as Millersville (1-4, 1-1) netted its first two points on an ESU punt snap through the end zone late in the first quarter.
Millersville scored on its first two second-half possessions to take the lead. Staffieri ran for 71 yards, including a 53-yarder, and scored from three yards out on an eight-play, 82-yard drive, then led an 11-play, 78-yard drive featuring a fourth-and-four conversion from the 33 culminating in Farley's go-ahead 26-yard field goal. Farley also caught four passes for 45 yards.
ESU's defense forced three Marauders punts the rest of the way, but Marcel Mingo's interception just inside midfield with 1:30 left ended the game.
Redshirt senior tailback
Jaymar Anderson, third in NCAA Division II with 146.3 rushing yards per game, had 22 carries for 81 yards for ESU.
Cirillo made his first career start, going 16-for-33 for 209 yards, a touchdown, three interceptions and running for 36 yards, after going 8-for-12 for 123 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter of a 44-41 loss vs. Lock Haven in his first action last week.
Reeder (seven receptions, 117 yards, TD) had his second 100-yard game of the season after entering fourth in the PSAC with 91.0 yards per game.
Redshirt freshman wide receiver
Ezequiel Lopez had four catches for 44 yards, both career-highs.
Staffieri was 11-for-25 passing and had 21 carries to gain his 269 yards total offense for Millersville. He gained 408 yards total offense in his first career start vs. ESU two years ago, throwing for 246 yards and three TD and rushing for 162 yards, in the Warriors' 38-23 win at Biemsderfer Stadium.
Phil Overton added 15 carries for 72 yards as Millersville gained 218 yards rushing.
Chris Dolan (three catches, 70 yards) and Farley led Staffieri's targets.
