Jakwan Jones chipped in nine points, 10 assists and three steals in another solid all-around effort for ESU. Tonight's win ensured that the defending PSAC-champion Warriors will return to the conference tournament for a 10th consecutive season.
ESU never trailed in the contest, as the home side hit 12 of its first 16 attempts from the field while racing out to an early 27-15 advantage.
The lead was 40-29 at halftime, with Smith recording 10 of his 14 points in the opening 20 minutes. He has now reached double figures in 12-consecutive games, a feat which has been accomplished by only seven other Warriors over the past 16 seasons.
Millersville, though, started the second half on a 7-0 run to pull within four, and the visitors trailed just 51-46 after a 3-pointer by James Sullivan with 11:35 left in regulation.
A layup by Williams began a 16-4 stretch for ESU which put the game out of reach, with a highlight-reel dunk by Smith putting an exclamation point on the victory with 3:39 remaining.
Weiss hit 6 of 7 attempts from the field and 5 of 8 free throws in 24 minutes off the bench. Five of his 10 rebounds came on the offensive end as he recorded his first collegiate double-double.
Jones, the PSAC leader in both assists and steals per game, recorded 10+ assists for the seventh time in his Warrior career (third time this season). Williams' five blocks, meanwhile, were the most by an ESU player this season.
Millersville's Jaden Faulkner led all scorers with 20 points, while Justin Nwosu added 18 points and six rebounds for the visitors.
ESU has the weekend off before returning to Koehler Fieldhouse for a big 8 p.m. matchup with Shippensburg next Wednesday. The Warriors and Raiders (16-5, 10-3) are tied for second in the PSAC East standings, one game back of first-place West Chester (15-5, 11-2).
