EAST STROUDSBURG – The Warriors closed their 2019-20 fall schedule on Saturday morning against Mercyhurst at Wolbers Courts as the Lakers recorded a 7-0 victory against ESU.
The Warriors and Lakers would play a pair of doubles matches with the results counting as two points towards the overall score in the match. Mercyhurst won 6-1 at No. 1 doubles as the tandem of Ivona Plecevic and Nada Ostojic bested ESU's top pairing of junior
Amanda Jackson and senior
Aubrianna Stetina.

Ivanna Pittman fell at No. 2 doubles against Mercyhurst's Ulyana Trifonova and Janice Theodora, 6-0.
The Lakers would go on to sweep each of the five singles matches that would be played to secure the 7-0 victory against the Warriors.

Quinn McCluskey made her first appearance of the season at No. 1 singles for ESU as she faced Mercyhurst's, Naomi Jahr. Stetina tallied the lone point for ESU in the second set of her match at No. 2 singles against the Lakers' Athina Tsagkaraki.
ESU heads to Holy Family on Tuesday for a 3 p.m. matchup to conclude its fall schedule.
