LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's cross country team finished in 14
th place at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships on Saturday.
ESU posted a combined time of 1:58.18 in the 6k, recording 367 team points. Edinboro won the championship with 62 team points and a combined time of 1:49.26, while Davis & Elkins finished a close second with 68 points and a time of 1:51.03. Edinboro's Stefanie Parson took home the individual title, crossing the finish line in 21:02.0.
Rachael Davalos was ESU's top finisher in the race, registering a time of 22:55.0 to take 41
st place.
Mandy Fine (23:21.6) and
Brittany Carratura (23:35.6) were next up for the Warriors, finishing in 58
th and 66
th place, respectively.
Jenna Vledder (24:12.1), Kylee Stangle (24:13.4),
Emily Eder (24:13.4) and
Haven Snyder (24:51.8) rounded things out for the Warriors on the day.
The top-three finishing teams at the Championships, Edinboro, Davis & Elkins and Seton Hill, will head to the NCAA DII Championships on November 23 in Sacramento.
