Briana Hall each qualified for the 'B' final in the 50-yard freestyle, leading a Wednesday full of season-best times for East Stroudsburg University to open up this year's PSAC Swimming Championships.
Junior
Tarah Killane added a 16th place finish in the 1000 free for the Warriors, who are in ninth place with 111 points through 5 of 19 events at the four-day conference meet.
Lukshides advanced into the evening session with a personal-best time of 24.42 in the preliminary round. That mark ranks third all-time in program history, just over a half-second back of
Annie Fagan's school-record time of 23.87 which was established at PSAC's two years ago. Lukshides would ultimately place 10th in the finals after touching the wall in 24.43.
Hall recorded a season-best mark of 24.45 in the prelims to qualify for her second-career 'B' final. She completed that race in 24.69, adding 15 points to ESU's team score with a 12th place finish.
Killane matched her 16th place showing in the 1000 free at last year's conference meet, as she took over 15 seconds off her previous season-best with a time of 10:47.93. That effort was just over three seconds shy of her PR of 10:44.55 which ranks second in ESU history.
The remaining 68 points for the Warriors came in the evening's two contested relay events. Sophomore

Julia Harnish, Hall and Lukshides placed 10th in the 200 medley relay (1:51.11), while Killane, junior
Alexandra Ferrante, freshman
Sarah Luigard and freshman
Emma Billings were 10th in the 800 free relay (8:20.17).
ESU managed four additional season-bests during the preliminary round. Luigard completed the 200 individual medley in 2:19.55, well under her previous fastest mark of 2:12.50, and Ferrante (11:27.48) took over 18 seconds off her previous PR of 11:45.75 in the 1000 free.
Howery (25.80) and Billings (26.31) added their quickest times of the year in the 50 free prelims.
Day 2 of the PSAC Championships on Thursday begins with preliminary swims in the 400 IM, 100 butterfly and 200 free at 10 a.m. inside the Graham Aquatic Center. Finals in those events, as well as the 200 free and 400 medley relays, are scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m.
