EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision against Millersville on Tuesday at Wolbers Courts in a PSAC East matchup.
ESU (5-7, 1-3) would fall 6-3 at the No. 2 doubles position as junior
Aubrianna Stetina and sophomore
Amanda Jackson paired for the third time this season. Millersville (8-14, 2-1) recorded its second conference victory after defeating Kutztown earlier this season.
The Marauders tallied a 6-1 win at the No. 1 doubles position along with a 6-0 decision at No. 3 doubles to take a 1-0 lead into the singles portion of the match against the Warriors.
Sophomore
Quinn McCluskey, playing at the No. 1 position for the first time, battled against Millersville's Katina Jones ultimately dropping a 6-0, 6-0 decision. Stetina fell 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles for ESU, while sophomore
Briana Young fell 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
The Warriors are back at Wolbers Courts on April 26 as ESU hosts Kutztown in a PSAC East match beginning at 3 p.m.
