EASTON, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's tennis team made a trip to Easton on Monday for a makeup match against Lafayette that was originally scheduled for April 12. The Warriors would drop a 7-0 decision against the Leopards.
ESU (5-8) dropped a pair of close decisions at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, while freshman
Charity McLeod battled before falling 10-6 at No. 5 singles. Lafayette (8-9) honored its senior class and will close the regular season at home against Lehigh.
The Leopards opened the match with a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles as the duo of Samantha Snyder and Maureen McCormack defeated sophomore

Aubrianna Stetina faced Grace Conrad and Meredith Block, falling 6-3 at the No. 2 position, while McLeod and sophomore
Briana Young dropped a 6-4 decision at the No. 3 position.
McCluskey would fall 10-1 at No. 1 singles against Snyder, while Stetina dropped a 10-1 decision at the No. 2 position. Young played at the No. 6 position for ESU against Lafayette's Anavi Anand and fell by a score of 10-2.
The Warriors are back at Wolbers Courts on April 26 as ESU hosts Kutztown in a PSAC East match beginning at 3 p.m.
