FLEETWOOD, Pa. – East Stroudsburg University's women's golf program began a stretch of three-straight days in action with Sunday's Kutztown Spring Invitational at Moselem Springs Golf Club.

Sophomore Micaela Crines led the three Warrior competitors with a round of 87. That score placed her tied for seventh out of 26 overall competitors. Junior Amy Bergquist was one spot out of the top 10 after carding a 90, while freshman Shannon Campbell ended the afternoon with a score of 110.

Crines' and Bergquist's days were each highlighted by birdies on the par-5 12th hole. Crines has scored under 90 in eight of ESU's last nine events dating back to the fall schedule.

West Chester's Meghan O'Mara and Kutztown's Rachel Tarnopoll tied for the individual lead after shooting identical rounds of 76 (+6). The Golden Rams topped the team standings with a collective effort of 328 (+48).

The Warriors will now head to Penn Oaks Golf Club for West Chester's Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. This spring's ESU Invitational is scheduled for next Saturday and Sunday at Glen Brook Golf Club in Stroudsburg.
