LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team picked up its third PSAC East win on Saturday afternoon, downing Lock Haven, 1-0, at Hubert Jack Stadium.
Haley Skove was able to tally the eventual game-winner during the 10th minute of action from Central Pennsylvania.
The Warriors improve to 4-3-1, 3-3-1 in PSAC East play, while Lock Haven falls to 3-4-1, 1-4-1 in conference action.
Notables
- Skove has now scored in back-to-back games and leads the Warriors with four goals and eight points this season.
- Skove now has 21 goals in her career, which is tied with Lindsay Foder (2007-10) for 10th all-time in program history.
- Mauri Jackson registered her third clean sheet of the season, making four saves in between the pipes. She now has 21 career shutouts in 49 career games as a Warrior. She is now six shutouts away from tying Stacy Linzenbold's (1995-98) 27 career shutouts for second among Warrior goalkeepers.
- ESU led 14-8 on shots and 9-4 on shots on goal.
