EAST STROUDSBURG - The fourth-ranked East Stroudsburg University field hockey team will look to defend their conference title as they face second-ranked West Chester in the semifinals of the 2021 PSAC Championship on Friday at Shippensburg. The match is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Robb Sports Complex.
About The Game
- ESU (15-3) secured the No. 2 seed in the tournament after finishing the regular season 9-1 in conference play while West Chester (14-3) earned the number the No. 3 seed with a 7-2 mark in the PSAC
- The Golden Rams advanced to the second round after defeating No. 6 seed Kutztown, 3-1, on Tuesday in the quarterfinals
- Tickets to the PSAC Field Hockey Tournament are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at the gate on the day of the event. Students from a PSAC member institution with a valid ID are admitted free. No comp tickets are available. Only PSAC passes will be honored.

- West Chester holds the advantage in the all-time series 10-39-6
- The Warriors and Golden Rams will square off for the second time this season. ESU earned a 1-0 victory back on October 19 at Vonnie Gros Field after Becca Heffner scored the game’s only goal.

- Yesterday, the Warriors had five players earn All-PSAC selections which included, senior Hannah Barbush (First-Team), senior Celeste Veenstra (First-Team), senior Morgan Mesenbrink (Second-Team), Lia Parker (Second-Team) and junior Nicole Krozser (Third-Team)
- Veenstra leads the Warriors with 22 points on a team-high 10 goals and two assists
- Barbush has a team-high eight assists and four defensive saves
- Sophomore Amy Supey (15-3) has a .77 goals against average and a .768 save percentage. Supey has not allowed a goal over the last 263:06 minutes.
