With the score tied at 25-25, WCU served the ball into the net and Stone recorded a kill to help the Warriors close out the Golden Rams, 27-25.

- The Warriors carried momentum over into the second set as they raced out to a 10-4 lead before a timeout by the Golden Rams. ESU kept it rolling out of the break as they ultimately went ahead 16-9 before WCU was pressed into their second timeout. The Warriors cruised their way through the remainder of the set, winning 25-18, for a 2-0 lead in the match.

- West Chester grabbed an early advantage in the first set at 8-5, but the Warriors would score 11 of the next 16 points to take the lead, 16-15.
