KANSAS CITY, MO. -- The United Soccer Coaches announced that East Stroudsburg University women's soccer goalkeeper Mauri Jackson has been named to the organization's All-Atlantic Region First Team.
The Mount Royal, New Jersey native was stellar this season especially late in the season. She allowed just one goal over ESU's final six games. She allowed multiple goals in a game in just six games, with five of those games coming against nationally-ranked squads.
Her 107 saves ranked fourth in the PSAC and 22nd nationally, while her save percentage of .856 was third best in the conference and ranked 24th in the country.
Among ESU goalkeepers, Jackson currently ranks fourth all-time in saves (284), third all-time in goals against average (.85), fourth in minutes played (5259.74) and third in shutouts (25), with a season of eligibility remaining.
2021 marks the 10th consecutive season that ESU has placed a member on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region squad.
Jackson previously earned All-PSAC East First Team honors.
