EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team scored six goals from five different goal scorers in a 6-0 victory over Lackawanna at home Wednesday evening.
The Warriors controlled offensively, totaling 35 shots while limiting Lackawanna to just one shot all game.
Kali O'Connell opened the scoring for the Warriors at the 12:31 mark, before Sophia Lowery found the back of the net at the 15:52 mark. Lowery's goal was assisted by O'Connell and McKenna Chisholm. Sydney Hornberger scored consecutive goals before the first half ended to send the Warriors into halftime ahead by four. Hornberger's goals came at the 26:14 and 36:11 marks, while her first goal was assisted by Anouk Landgraff.
In the second half, the Warriors managed just 12 shots compared to their 23 in the first half. Kiara McNealy scored the first goal of her career at 74:41, while she assisted the final goal of the night by Bella Bowen at 86:53. Bowen's goal was also the first of her career, while she was assisted by Nikki Sahl.
