CARLISLE, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University swimming team opened its Spring 2021 season at the PSAC Invitational inside Keystone State Aquatic Center on Saturday.
The Warriors, who competed for the first time in 371 days, faced tough competition in Bloomsburg, Clarion, Gannon and meet host IUP. There was no team scoring.
Top-five finishers include Madion Tafe (4th place, 12:06.50) and Erynn Brady (13:35.13) in the 1000-yd freestyle and Jenna Johnson in the 200-yd individual medley (2:24.91) and 200-yd backstroke (2:20.36).
Taylor Howery paced ESU in the 50-yd and 100-yd freestyle with posted times of 26.44 and 58.30, respectively

The PSAC Invitational, along with ESU cross country's Lock Have Winter Invite, marked the first intercollegiate athletic competitions for ESU since March 10, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Warriors are back in action on March 13 in a dual meet at Millersville.
