EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University football head coach
Jimmy Terwilliger has announced the addition of 12 student-athletes who have signed the National Letter of Intent to play football for the Warriors.
ESU is coming off a 6-5 record in 2019 in its first full season under head coach
Jimmy Terwilliger. The Warriors posted their first winning season after three straight from 2013-15.
"We are excited to add these talented players to our returners from the 2019 team, and to our student-athletes who committed to ESU last winter but could not compete on the field this fall," said Terwilliger.
"Each of these student-athletes brings value to ESU as we build our program. We are not just collecting talent, we are building a team. This year has been unique in so many ways, and building relationships has been challenging due to the global pandemic. I'm proud of our coaches who have worked extremely hard to connect with these student-athletes and their families. We're so glad to welcome them to our Warrior family."
"I'm incredibly impressed with the commitment that our team has shown during the last year under difficult circumstances, academically and athletically. We're glad to be able to return to campus for athletically-related activity this spring, and absolutely can't wait to put our entire squad together for the fall 2021 season."
