YORK, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University swimming team closed out its 2021 spring season with day two of the PSAC Championships on Saturday at Graham Aquatic Center.
In the morning session, Samantha Christman earned the Warriors 11 points with a 16th place finish in the 100-yd backstroke. The time marked a new personal best for the senior from Highland Mills, N.Y., who logged a time of 1:02.62.
In her first action of the conference meet, Julia Harnish posted a time of 1:12.23 for an 18th-place finish in the 100-yd breaststroke to add seven points to the Warriors score.
Erynn Brady competed in the 500-yd freestyle, recording a time of 6:01.00 for 30th place in her final collegiate event.
In the evening session, Christman posted a time of 57.88 in the 100-yd freestyle for 27th place.
Harnish closed out the season for ESU strong in the 200-yd breaststroke. The Lake Stevens, Wash. native compiled a personal-best time of 2:33.92 which added 11 points to ESU's score with a 16-place finish. The Warriors finished the meet with 29 total points.
Highlights for the ESU swimming team in the 2021 season include going 2-0 in dual meets and finishing second of four teams in the Vulcan Virtual Invitational.
