EAST STROUDSBURG -- The East Stroudsburg University softball team will prepare for the 2022 season against tough competition this fall. The Warriors are scheduled to face St. Thomas Aquinas along with Division I Lafayette, Lehigh and Drexel in exhibition doubleheaders in September and October.

The Warriors are coming off one of the most successful seasons in program history in 2021, tying a school record with 29 wins and posted a 20-4 record in home games at Creekview Park. ESU earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the NCAA Atlantic Region Championship for the first time in program history. The Warriors were one of the final 16 teams remaining in the NCAA Tournament.
