EAST STROUDSBURG -- A Mirthe Bos goal off a corner in the ninth minute proved to be enough, as the East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team picked up its first PSAC East win with a 1-0 victory over Mansfield on Saturday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
ESU improves to 2-2-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in PSAC East play. Mansfield drops to 1-3-1 on the season and 0-2-1 in the conference.
Freshman Natalie Schooley assisted on the goal, finding Bos for the game-winner. Mauri Jackson completed her second shutout of the season, making three saves.
