LOCK HAVEN – For the second consecutive game, the East Stroudsburg University men's soccer team came from behind and earned a victory, handing Lock Haven a 2-1 loss on Saturday night inside Hubert Jack Stadium.
With the win, the Warriors (5-6, 4-2) now sit in sole possession of third place with Millersville's 2-1 loss to Bloomsburg. The Bald Eagles fall to 4-4-2, 2-1-2 on the season.
Notables
- Hubert Herrera and Abdulla Nuredini each registered their first goals of the season for ESU. For Herrera, it was his third of his career and first since Nov. 9, 2019 against Shepherd. For Nuredini, it's his third in a Warrior uniform after transferring in from California (Pa.) prior to the 2021 season.
- In his first action this season, Warrior goalkeeper Raymond Fortebuono made six saves in the win.
- The Warriors now have 12 points in the conference slate through six games, trailing just Bloomsburg and West Chester by a single point.
- LHU led 12-8 on shots, 7-4 on shots on goal, 7-4 on corners.

- 40' | Austin Kravetz opened the scoring with just about five minutes left in the first half half to give LHU the lead into the intermission.
- 66' | Nuredini struck a free kick from 24-yards out that curled into the back of the net.
- 74' | Off a corner kick, Herrera registered an 'Olimpico' style goal, directly scoring off the corner.
