EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior
Olivia Breen's goal with 4:56 left in overtime completed the comeback for the third-ranked East Stroudsburg University field hockey team as the Warriors took #4 West Chester, 2-1, in a PSAC Quarterfinals instant classic on Tuesday afternoon at Whitenight Field.

Morgan Mesenbrink tied the game at 1-1 at the 49:59 mark in the fourth quarter.
ESU advances to the semifinals and revenges their most recent PSAC Tournament losses (2017 & 2021) to West Chester to improve to 16-2 overall. The Golden Rams fall to 14-4.
Earlier today, the Warriors ranked third in this week's edition of the NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll. The NCAA Atlantic Regional rankings will be unveiled tomorrow with the Selection Show taking place on Monday at 3 p.m.

- Breen tailed her sixth goal of the season as well as her second straight (third overall) game-winner
- Senior Madison Kline collected her fifth assist of the year on the redirection goal from Mesenbrink
- WCU's Valerie van Kuijck put the Golden Rams ahead with a goal in the first quarter
- Making a season-high six saves, junior goalkeeper Amy Supey turned in her best performance of the year to help the Warriors move on. Despite allowing a goal, the Lehman native continues to lead the PSAC and NCAA Division II with a 0.39 goals against average and a 0.867 save percentage
- West Chester held the advantage in shots (12-11) and shots on goal (7-4), but the Warriors had more penalty corners (12-7)
- In her 38th season, head coach Sandy Miller collected her 475th career victory today, now needing 12 more to move into third all-time in Division II

49:59 | The Warriors finally broke through on a penalty corner as Kline moved the ball to the left side of the circle before taking a shot that was deflected off the stick of Mesenbrink to get the Warriors on the board and knot the score at 1-1
65:02 | After receiving the initial pass off the penalty corner, Breen dribbled to her right to shake the defender before uncorking a blast inside the right post to send ESU to the PSAC Semifinals on Friday
