Bartholomew Lands on AFCA All-America Second Team

EAST STROUDSBURG – After an impressive season that ranked among the best in NCAA Division II,  East Stroudsburg University football kicker Devin Bartholomew was recognized on the AFCA All-America Second Team, the coaches' association announced on Monday morning.  

Bartholomew made 17 of his 23 field goal attempts as a redshirt junior, including 11-13 from inside 40 yards and a mark of 6-10 from beyond 40 yards. 

He was a perfect 28-28 this season on PAT attempts, improving his collegiate career mark to 57-57. The Warriors have made every point after touchdown the last three seasons (97-97 PAT), including its previous 99 attempts dating back to the 2018 finale.

Bartholomew ranks third nationally in field goals per game, 32nd in field goal percentage. In points scored this season - among all players - his 79 points rank 46th in NCAA Division II and fifth in the PSAC .

The Parkland High School graduate was previously honored on the All-PSAC East First Team.

Bartholomew becomes just the third kicker in program history to earn All-America status, joining former teammate Jordan Walters in 2019 (AFCA) and Matt Seagraves om 1994 (D2CCA Second Team, 1994). Among all honoring organizations, Bartholomew becomes the 35th Warrior to be recognized as an All-American. He joins Deshawn McCarthy (2021 AFCA) as current Warriors that have been recognized at the highest level.
