EAST STROUDSBURG – Honors and awards continue to pile in for East Stroudsburg University women's soccer's Rebecca Kotula, as the midfielder was selected to the United Soccer Coaches Women's Scholar All-America Second Team, the organization announced on Thursday afternoon.
Kotula was previously honored for her hard work on the pitch and in the classroom on the All-PSAC East First Team, the D2CCA Atlantic Region First Team, the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District and All-America Second Team, along with the United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team this offseason.
She paced the Warriors offensively, with nine goals (4th in PSAC), seven assists (9th in PSAC) and 23 points (5th in PSAC), which all ranked in the top-10 of the conference.
In the classroom, the dual major in political science and philosophy has registered a perfect 4.0 grade point average as a PSAC Scholar-Athlete and dean's list student.
Kotula enters her senior season with 13 career goals and six assists for 32 points in 36 games.
