BETHLEHEM – The East Stroudsburg University women's cross country team returned to competition on Friday afternoon with a 30th place finish at Lehigh's 48th annual Paul Short Run at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.
Competing in the women's college white 6k race, the Warriors were paced by freshman Kelly Martin, who notched another top-100 finish out of the 331 runners in the field, coming in 94th with a time of 24:16.00.
Sophomore Alycia Smith crossed the line next for ESU, taking 176th with a time of 25:30.80, while freshman Megan Elgrim came in 192nd after finishing in 25:.43.10.
Rounding out the race for the Warriors was senior Samantha Brawner taking 218th with a time of 26:29.20 and sophomore Jada Williams in 268th (27:51.70).
