BLOOMSBURG – The top-ranked East Stroudsburg University field hockey team saw its five-game win streak come to an end as #8 Bloomsburg knocked off the Warriors, 1-0, on Tuesday afternoon at Steph Pettit Stadium.
Suffering their first conference loss of the season, the Warriors dropped to 10-2 overall and 4-1 in the PSAC while the Huskies improved to 10-3 on the year and 3-3 in the league.
Bloomsburg snapped a seven-game losing streak to ESU with today's win as the Huskies last defeated the Warriors on September 6, 2016.

- Bloomsburg converted on their lone penalty corner of the afternoon as Emily Swineford tipped in an initial blast from Bella Culp to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead at the 8:13 mark in the first quarter
- Senior Madison Kline and junior Jady van Gils paced the Warriors with three shots on goal a piece
