WEST CHESTER, Pa. – After a scoreless first half for both teams, West Chester was able to score a pair of goals over the final 45 minutes to eliminate the East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team from the PSAC Tournament in the quarterfinal round on Monday afternoon at Rockwell Field.

How It Happened
  • 53' | WCU opened the scoring in the second half. Matter fired a high pass that Cutter was able to get a foot on in front of the box. Clarkson approached in an attempt to breakup a clean shot. Cutter's high shot bounced into the open net.
  • 64' | Just over 10 minutes later, the Golden Rams tallied an insurance goal. In an impressive display of passing, Pungello sent a cross pass to Hug, who immediately sent a one-timed pass to Matter. With Clarkson in position to stop a shot from Hug, Matter was able to gather the pass and send a shot into the net.
