EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University graduate student Elina Joronen earned back-to-back PSAC East Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week honors; the league office announced on Monday.

Joronen was a perfect 4-0 at No. 1 singles and doubles for the Warriors last week in matches against Kutztown and Lock Haven. Joronen defeated the Golden Bears' Ava Lewis (6-4, 6-4) on Wednesday and returned to take down the Bald Eagles' Maddy Reeves (6-4, 6-4) on Friday. On the season, Joronen is 4-0 in singles and 2-2 in doubles.

ESU is set to battle Shepherd in a PSAC East dual this afternoon at 3 p.m.
